"Lets us put our minds together and see what life we can make for our children." -Sitting BullMs. Lattimore

This quote of Sitting Bull's I like to keep in the forefront of my thoughts when it comes to the students of Brockton Avenue. I continue to be excited about the way the staff works together to give a variety of experiences to our students and the efforts we use to accomplish these great things. I am thrilled at the prospect of the on going work with the children, parents, and staff for this wonderful school and its surrounding community. Our ultimate goal is that everyone in this school community will be a contributing member of society.

As a small neighborhood school Brockton Avenue has a responsibility to brilliance. Our size allows us to work toward having children recognizes his/her worth and value to our school as well as to their families and community. We also believe that it is our responsibility to ensure the highest levels of academic success for each child. The talented and highly qualified staff emphasizes the use of traditional instructional methods, as well as incorporating current research based practices to accomplish this task.

We clearly recognize the enormous task that stands before us as educators and gladly prepare ourselves with enthusiasm and determination to serve our students and community with the best we have to offer. We would like to invite you to join us in this endeavor. Please visit or volunteer. Sitting Bull said, "Let us put our minds together and see what life we can make for our children." Please come and join us.
